One of my core beliefs is in the power of education to create opportunities. I do not believe this is limited to regular school-based education and professional opportunities. The more you know, the more you can do. Whether that involves watching a TikTok video about mental health, and then applying principles to bring balance to your own life, or understanding social media and using it to your benefit, we live in a world where information is quite literally at our fingertips, and I want to help people take advantage of that.

My background is in Education and Counselling, and I have a personal interest in horticulture and botany, as well as experience in the creative arts spheres. Over the past two years, these interests have blended through the world of TikTok to create a clear personal brand on both TikTok and Instagram, that has a reputation within the community.

My latest foray of creativity has led me to the conversation about Mamas who choose to look after their children, full time at home. Now that I am doing this myself, I realised that we need more help. Not just physical and in home support from loving partners and family members but also in a societal way. I want to see the needle moving towards acknowledging how much of change this is for Mamas and I don't believe this is a topic that people are genuinely good at talking about. Either in private behind closed doors or in public. 

The nurturing a Mama provides is not something that can be replaced and so they need all the form of support they can get. 

I believe in learning and growing with technology and looking for ways to stay in touch with trends that are on the verge of the early majority (innovation curve). 

I have owned or been involved with small businesses over the past decade. They include selling products online, developing an app for the real estate industry and business coaching.

I also believe in self education and like to be dynamic in my knowledge of the business world. I have recently completed formal study receiving a diploma of leadership and have been a part of a local business community to my city for the past 10 years.
